Company Description

Our client is a well-known Singapore based conglomerate group.  Through its subsidiaries and associated companies it is involved in investment holding, operators of ships and charterers, owners and operators of warehouses and trading in various products e.g. chemicals, steel, fertilizers and sugar products. 

They are currently seeking for a professional and experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to join their corporate office in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your duties will include the following:

·        Handle and supervise daily operational functions

·       Provide timely and comprehensive financial and management information

·       Handle both audit and tax related matters for the portfolio of companies

·       Regular liaison with various external third parties including accountants, auditors, lawyers, administrators, bankers etc. These third parties are expected to be located both in Hong Kong and overseas.

Job Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA/ACCA designation

·       Minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least three years in a managerial position

·        Strong on management reporting and financial analysis

·       Experience in tax would be an advantage including exposure to PRC accounting rules and regulations

·       A well organised, mature person that is able to work under deadlines, while having a strong sense of direction and time management

·       Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential

·       Strong command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese (Mandarin would be an advantage)
