Our client has evolved into a global apparel leader which designs, sources, markets, licenses and distributes a broad line of apparel, sportswear and swimwear worldwide. Their products are distributed both domestically and internationally.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for driving and supporting the financial planning and analysis for Asia Pacific, providing insights to financial performance and identifying areas for improvement. The role will also consist of the following duties:
· Provide quality financial planning and analysis (e.g. Budget, LTF, MOR, variance analysis, financial metrics tracking, performance analytics, and other management analysis).
· Provide insights to financial performance and identify areas for improvement
· Meet all financial planning and analysis deadlines
· Support merger / acquisition / divesture analysis
· Provide training and share best practices with the team
· Ability to work closely with the Regional Financial Controller, Country Financial Controllers and Country General Managers
· Assist in financial system implementation and conversion
Job Requirements
· University Degree in accounting or finance with a CPA designation (MBA an advantage)
· Minimum seven years of finance and accounting experience, with at least two years in a managerial position in regional financial planning and analysis
· Strong analytical and forecasting skills. Strong business sense. Ability to dig deep to understand the business performance drivers
· Knowledge of Asia Pacific countries (particularly China and Korea) and prior experience in multinational companies preferred
· Strong communication skills -fluent in English (written and verbal), Cantonese and Mandarin conversational
· Good Excel and Hyperion skills
