Our client is a Australian based technology company who have recently opened a new office in Macau to provide sales and service support for their gaming equipment efforts throughout Asia. Their main client base are Casinos in Macau and they are seeking to bring on a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Job responsibilities:
The successful candidate will directly report to the Director of Finance in Australia. The main purpose of this role is to prepare and manage all financial information for the company, adopting a responsible and "hands on" approach.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in a timely manner
- Prepare Cash flow analysis to drive corporate budgeting and forecasting decisions
- Ensure company policies and internal controls are adhered to
- Preparing and recording daily transaction including: Month end closing of General Ledger, Customer invoicing, Vendor payments and payroll, Reconciliation of accounts
- Government reporting i.e. dealing with appropriate GAAP adjustments
- Ad hoc reports as requested by Finance Director
Job Requirements:
All candidates MUST:
- Hold a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Have a minimum 3 years of accounting experience preferable in a MNC environment
- Be CPA QUALIFIED
- Have knowledge of accounting theory and consolidation processes
- Be able to work independently and handle a full set of books
- Work with high integrity and be self motivated
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Cantonese is advantages
