Develop and implement marketing strategies for Macau that are designed to achieve predetermined annual sales targets.As the Marketing Manager you will be directly reporting to the Vice President of Marketing Asia Pacific. You will also be developing specific advertising, promotions, on line marketing and PR campaigns to be implemented on an annual basis.
Since its inception in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has brought wonder and delight to more than 50 million spectators over 100 cities on four continents. The company currently has eight touring shows, and seven resident shows. Cirque is now inviting an experience Sales &Marketing professional to broaden their presence in Asia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for Macau in conjunction with the Vice President of Marketing Asia Pacific, that are designed to achieve predetermined annual sales targets.
- Develops specific advertising, promotions, on line marketing and PR campaigns to be implemented on an annual basis
- Recommend appropriate market research requirements
- Guide the implementation of marketing strategies in the Macau market and its associated feeder markets whilst ensuring that the brand and its sub-brands are respected
- Initiates regular partner strategy meetings in order to develop and assess new and ongoing strategies for advertising, media planning, production, market research and promotions
- Works with partners, agencies and vendors, manages and approves the development and oversight of annual marketing budgets
- In collaboration with our partner, leads the development of internet advertising creative for the Macau shows post launch
- Identify, implement and assess new opportunities in internet marketing and media for the Macau show in collaboration with external vendors and our local partner
- Develops and implements market research, segmentation and customer satisfaction surveys
- Seek out innovative ideas for new marketing activities and potential vendors or partners to assist with increasing the visibility of shows and their respective sales objectives
- Manage the creation (post launch), production and implementation of all marketing materials for RSD productions (printed materials, signage, radio, TV, and outdoor advertising)
- Approve and/or guide the approval of all marketing, advertising and collateral materials produced by RSD partners, vendors and agencies
- Manage the brands and graphic standards for all show marketing collateral to include addressing production and graphic issues, press checks, and remediation with vendors
- Develops and oversees the implementation of an integrated promotion plan for Macau shows to include local and key feeder markets throughout Asia-Pacific
- Oversees and directs the pitching of promotions to media outlets in key Macau markets and national broadcast television. Sets and ensure media value targets are achieved
- Oversees and approves collaboration with partner on cross-promotions and work to identify ways to increase strategic integratio
- Development of the public relations strategy in co-ordination with the show publicist
- All other duties as assigned by the Vice-President Marketing, Asia Pacific Resident Show Division
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Communications
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in entertainment marketing, advertising, or agency experience
- Experience in branding, online marketing and CRM
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must create and maintain solid business relationships both internally and externally and promote and encourage a positive and productive work environment
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Great organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Must also be able to handle ambiguity and work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Must be available to travel as required.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
- Willing to station in Macau
