ARE YOU A QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT WITH STRONG COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE, PRC ACCOUNTING AND TAX EXPOSURE WITH 3+ YEARS OF AUDIT EXPERIENCE IN BIG 4 OR RECOGNIZED CPA? ARE YOU OPEN TO TRAVELLING BETWEEN CITIES IN CHINA, PERFORMING FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL AUDITS FOR REAL-ESTATE AND PROPERTY CLIENTS?
Our client is a real-estate developer based in the PRC that focuses on developing high-end residential property projects in strategically selected key and high-growth cities. Their business includes property development of residential, commercial and integrated developments, and property investment and management.
Leveraging on their reputation and expertise from their experience in the affluent areas of Shanghai and Nanjing, our client has expanded the geographical reach of their property development business into Chengdu, Tianjin, Zhuhai, Suzhou and Guiyang.
They are now seeking dynamic, diligent, experienced and analytical professionals to join their Hong Kong-based team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTANT:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Reviewing vouchers, monitoring and analyzing monthly financial performance and management reports of various subsidiaries within the Group
- Assisting in group consolidation, quarterly and annual announcements, annual report preparation and audit issues
- Participating in annual budgeting, quarterly project forecast process and ad-hoc assignments This person will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
INTERNAL AUDITOR:
The incumbent will be assisting the Internal Audit Manager to:
- Perform financial and operational audits, mainly in China.
- Prepare audit reports with value-added recommendations to the Senior Management and Audit Committee.
- Frequent travel to China is required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate with qualified certification in Accountancy or Finance
- At least 3 years of solid accounting experience in listed companies, with 2+ years of external or internal auditing background, preferably in Big 4 or sizeable CPA
- Good PRC exposure particularly in PRC accounting and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive attitude
- Hardworking, independent and able to work well under pressure
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese

SALARY
- $20-35K (Dependent upon skill set and level of expertise)
