SPA SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Our client is an award winning operator of some of the world’s most prestigious hotels and resorts. They operate globally across Asia, the Americas and Europe. The spa division of one of their 5 star hotel brands based in Hong Kong is looking to recruit a highly qualified and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager. Reporting directly to the Spa Director, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy aimed at maximising sales revenue for the client’s spa business. .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulate and implement strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans.
• Oversee all necessary activities to fulfil strategic objectives.
• Identify and approach potential new clients.
• Develop relationships with existing members and maximize revenue potential.
• Develop existing marketing activities to ensure awareness of the Spa among all competitors.
• Work toward building the overall strength and performance of the Spa Concierge team and the Spa as a whole Create positioning Ads and image campaign Work on KPI's and to analyse and grow the business
• Train and motivate team on retail sales and services information
• Suggest viable target customers/members and industries, sourcing relevant data as necessary
• Work with the Director of Spa and General Manager in the development of ideas for new services and new markets for existing services
• Oversee day-to-day Sales of retail, treatments, wellness and membership
• Work closely with Public Relations on the production and distribution of quarterly newsletter
• Analyse advertising opportunities and propose campaigns where strong ROI is expected
• Identify PR opportunities, develop relationships with journalists
• Ensure that colleagues in the Spa Department are following prospect tracking systems
• Present monthly report to Director of Spa and General Manager, analysing past performance and proposing future activities and direction

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience within the beauty/cosmetics/fashion/spa industry preferred
• University degree
• Must be familiar with the range of services/products offered by a Spa and understand how to identify client requirements that can be met by these services
• Knowledge of the local markets to promote the Spa services and products
• Ideal candidate should be confident, proactive, aggressive and numbers oriented
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese is a must; Mandarin preferred but not necessary.
