Our client is a reputed Hedge Fund House. It manages a number of long-short equity funds.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for the incumbent as follows:
- Perform trading function in equities and equity-related products originating from Asia Pacific, ex-Japan
- Work closely with clients and business partners
- Match buy and sell orders in the same equity.
- Monitor trades to ensure efficient and effective execution and compliance on a daily basis.
- Develop relationship with clients through trading and execution services.
- Identify, develop new clients/new sources of product supply and elicit additional business.
Job Requirements:
- 5-8 years equity trading experience with a strong network of institutional contacts in Asia
- Proven record of trading Asian equities and related products
- Good presentation and technical skills
- Result oriented, driven by challenges of the market and a will to succeed
- Excellent teamwork, English/Cantonese communication skills together with confidence and flair
- High standard of ethics and integrity Relevant registrations with SFC
Ideal Candidate:
- Candidates with 5+ years of trading experience in Asian equities
